2017-2018
During the 2017-2018 season, our club had six teams compete in the VEX IQ Challenge Ringmaster. They were teams 5081A (Diamond Jags), 5081B (W.A.B. Bot), 5081D (Mechanical Madness), 5081E (Mecha-Knights), 5081F (Golden Jags), and 5081G (Mechanateez). These teams competed in 8 local tournaments during the Ringmaster season.
At the state competition, three teams (5081D, 5081E, and 5081F) competed with over 60 teams in order to grab spots for the World Competition to show that they were the best in Florida.
Teams 5081E and 5081F were able to rise up to the occasion and gain spots for Worlds.
In April of 2018, Teams 5081E and 5081F travelled to Louisville, Kentucky to compete in the VEX IQ World Competition. They competed with 396 other teams from countries all over the world. Everyone had the greatest time meeting new people and competing with other teams.
In the end, Team 5081E was awarded with the Build Award. This was a great way to end the 2017-2018 season.
