2015-2016

2015-2016 was the beginning of PPCMS West Robotics. Our club was formed in January of 2015 and started off with only a few students. The first half of 2015 was spent learning the different parts in VEX IQ to familiarize our members with building, programming, and driving robots. 

After our members started learning more about robotics, they geared themselves up to compete in the 2015-2016 VEX IQ Challenge Bankshot. They were divided into 2 teams, Team 5081A (Steel Jags) and Team 5081B (Tech Titans). Both teams worked hard through this season and competed in Miami in January of 2016 against many other teams.
